Al Majid Centre
A masjid, madrasah and community centre serving Reading, run by the Al Majid Welfare Trust.
Al Majid Centre is home to a growing Muslim community in south Reading. What began as a place to pray together has become a masjid, a madrasah and a hub for community life, open every day of the year on Northumberland Avenue.
The Centre is run by volunteers and sustained entirely by the generosity of those who pray here. Every service we offer — from keeping the doors open to teaching the next generation their Qur'an — depends on the community that stands behind it.
Whether you pray with us every day, are new to the area, or are visiting for the first time, you are welcome at Al Majid Centre.
